Hungry Horse combines lasagne & pizza as part of spring menu launch

Hungry Horse has launched a series of creative new dishes for its new spring menu, including a Lasagne-in-a-Pizza.

The national pub brand which is owed by Greene King, the UK’s leading pub company and brewer, has rolled out its spring menu this week (25th February) across its 266-strong estate.

New dishes include the Lasagne-in-a-Pizza, which features Hungry Horse’s classic beef lasagne sandwiched between two freshly baked Margherita pizzas and served with napolitana dip and fries, perfect for sharing between friends. There’s also a spicy chicken pizza sandwich and a Mexican-inspired Fajita burger – a cheeseburger topped with fajita spiced peppers, spicy battered chicken fingers and lashings of sour cream, mayo and guacamole.

Jason Radbourn, senior food development manager at Hungry Horse, said, “We know one of the greatest dilemmas when eating out is deciding what to choose from the menu. So, with that in mind, we’ve combined two of our favourite dishes to create the ultimate Italian main meal.

“We’re not shy when it comes to experimenting with food innovation and always try to create a real showstopper on each of our new menus. We hope our customers are as excited as we are to try our tasty new offering.”

To help mark the launch of the new menu and to really bring the flavours of Central America to life, Hungry Horse pubs nationwide will also be running a giveaway with Desperados, giving away free bottles in exchange for a lime.

To redeem the Desperados offer, guests will have to visit a participating pub between 28 February - 1 March and give a lime to a team member at the bar to receive a free bottle of Desperados. One drink permitted per person and customers will need to be quick to get hold of one, as there is only a limited number available whilst stocks last. Promotion is not available in Scotland.
