Manchester Bill’s crowned Best Designed Restaurant of the Year

Bill’s Restaurant & Bar has been awarded The Best Designed Restaurant of the Year sponsored by the London Design Fair at the Casual Dining Awards 2020 for its Spinningfields, Manchester restaurant, designed by Focus Design.

Louise Neilson, Estates and Risk Director of Bill’s, said, 'We are delighted with the win at the Casual Dining Awards and the recognition that Focus Design and the team at Bill’s have been honoured with. The design features at Spinningfields have elevated the space and created a beautiful dining experience for guests.”

The restaurant boasts 177 sqm dining space accommodating up to 96 covers, featuring cosy booths, sociable sharing tables and a bespoke bar area. There is also external seating, in the heart of Spinningfields, for 26 covers.

James Hamilton of Focus Design said, “We wanted to create a design that elevated the “All Day into the Night” messaging that was at the heart of Bill’s marketing. We are delighted to have worked with the team at Bill’s on this project.”

Eva Ellis, event manager at Diversified Communications UK, organiser of the the Casual Dining Awards and Casual Dining at ExCeL London, said, “Week in week out, tens of thousands of loyal customers vote for their favourite casual dining brands with their wallets.

'Despite the headlines and the challenging market, scores of restaurants, bars and pubs across the UK’s high streets are thriving – with their teams working tirelessly to deliver an all-round incredible casual dining experience.

'The Casual Dining Awards are for them – recognising and rewarding the best in the business. It’s exciting to see so much innovation, growth, and incredible dedication here. It really is a credit to this resilient sector that there is so much to celebrate!”
