Sleaford Quality Foods (SQF), the cross-category supplier of multiple packaged foods to the manufacturing and foodservice sector, is celebrating after after winning the Innovation category at the glittering East Midlands Business Masters Awards, held in Nottingham.
Before an audience of 250 business leaders from across the Midlands, SQF was praised for its continued innovation in both products in packaging.
The company has embarked on a sugar and salt renovation programme, changed the colour of its plastic packaging from black to white in an effort to become more environmentally-friendly, unveiled a pledge to ensure all its packaging is recyclable or compostable by 2022, and introduced the Our Earth range of on-trend products - including gluten-free, dairy-free, palm oil-free, vegan, Halal and Kosher diet suitable options.
James Arnold, Managing Director at SQF, said, 'It's been a hugely busy year for everyone at SQF on the innovation front and so we're delighted to win this award. We're making big strides in both our free-from and environmental commitments and the benefits are already being felt by our customers.

Established in 1968 by the Arnold family in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, Sleaford Quality Foods has gone from being a small local family run business to a leading supplier of high quality ingredients, distributing goods both nationally and internationally.
