Interserve wins £300m FM deal for NHS Trusts

Interserve has signed a deal to provide facilities and estate management with three NHS Trusts.

In the first deal of its kind, the firm will provide a full suite of support services including strategic consultancy and advice to Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland trusts.

The contract is worth up to £300m over seven years and will see Interserve deliver a full suite of support services to the Trusts across 550 buildings, totalling 490,000m2 and nearly 3,100 beds.

The Trusts hope to make savings from collective procurement.

Interserve will support three acute hospitals and a range of health facilities including mental health units, primary care facilities, and community and district hospitals in the area.

Adrian Ringrose, Interserve’s chief executive, commented, ”We are delighted to be selected as preferred bidder to Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland NHS Trusts. This project will enable the Trusts to capture value through reconfiguring both the estate and the way in which it is serviced.”
