New CEO for ISS UK & Ireland

Purvin Patel has been appointed as the new CEO of ISS UK and Ireland (UK&I) with immediate effect. Matthew Brabin will step down from his role as CEO.

Purvin joined ISS as the CEO of ISS India in 2014 and has since then successfully led the strategic transformation through the implementation of the ISS Way strategy. The growth rate within Key Accounts in ISS India has steadily increased during his period as the CEO and has witnessed high people engagement and improved financial performance.

Purvin has more than 25 years of operational leadership experience in companies such as Walmart and Kingfisher Group and has previously spent 8 years working for a private equity portfolio company in the food service and food logistics industry based out of India.

Jacob Götzsche, CEO Europe, said, “Being a performance driven leader with an excellent customer focus, we are confident that Purvin will pick up the torch to lead one of our key countries within ISS - the UK and Ireland, successfully through its transformation, while focusing on our growth agenda and Key Accounts.

'Matthew has led our UK&I business through significant change during his 11 years with ISS. Under his leadership, ISS UK&I has taken significant steps towards becoming a purpose led, customer-oriented organisation. I would like to thank Matt for his contribution to ISS.”

Patel said, “I am humbled and excited to embark on this new journey. These are unprecedented times we live in as we face challenges of a different kind, not just in the UK market, but the world over.

'But we are also seeing opportunities and I am simply amazed by the commitment and dedication of our colleagues in response to this crisis. I am confident that we can capitalise on these opportunities.

'My first task will be to navigate and lead the business through this crisis, so that we can continue to create fantastic workplaces for our customers that inspire and engage.”
