Taking place virtually on 10 February 2021, ACS’ Technology Showcase is the unique chance for retailers and suppliers to come together to explore the latest technology trends, products and services set to transform the sector.

The following companies were selected by ACS’ Independent Board and have been shortlisted to demonstrate their product or service at the event:

SocioLocal - a platform created to maximise social media marketing and help businesses reach their local customers
EDGE\\MEDIA‘Shelfies’ - digital shelf edge screens designed to increase sales, cross promote and push in-store deals
CPI - Paypod pay stations which aim to reduce cash handling errors, miscalculation and theft
Gander an automated mobile platform to sell reduced food before it goes to waste updated in real-time
G4S - G4S Pay is a complete suite of payment services bringing together cash, face to face, online and over the phone merchant services to all business types

The Showcase will feature presentations from Cate Trotter (Founder and Head of Trends, Insider Trends), Jason Perry (Head of Online Development, Co-operative Group) and Emma Sutton (Social Media Executive, Costcutter Supermarkets Group) exploring the impact of technology on the convenience sector.

The Showcase will be followed by ACS’ Hosted One2Ones, the online business speed dating event which provides retailers and suppliers with the opportunity to network and build new and exciting relationships.

The virtual ‘dates’ are short and focused meaning retailers have enough time to understand the supplier’s brand and for the supplier to find out about the retailer’s store.
