Costa celebrates 50 years with 50p coffees this week

Costa Coffee continues its 50th celebrations this week by offering customers the chance to purchase any Coffee in a can or At Home coffee products for just 50p.

For one day only, on Thursday 29 April, any customer who scans their Costa Coffee Club mobile app when they purchase any Costa Coffee in a can, At Home roast & ground coffee or At Home coffee pods from a participating Costa Coffee store will be charged just 50p per item, while stocks last.

This unmissable offer is open to new and existing registered Costa Coffee Club mobile app users and will apply to a maximum of three items per registered user in one transaction.

Those looking for cold-coffee refreshment need to look no further than the Costa Coffee in a can range. Featuring the smooth flavours of Costa Coffee’s Signature Mocha Italia blend, choose from either a classic Latte, Black Americano or a smooth Caramel Latte. This Coffee in a can is the perfect pairing for a sunny afternoon in the park with friends.

For customers wanting to channel their inner barista from the comfort of your home? Whether it’s ground, whole beans or coffee pods, Costa Coffee’s At Home range captures the recognisable smooth and nutty taste of the legendary Signature Mocha Italia blend served in stores.

A Costa Coffee spokesperson said, “We are delighted to continue our 50th birthday celebrations by offering our customers the chance to enjoy Costa Coffee in a can or At Home coffee products for just 50p.

'We know our customers love our barista-made handcrafted coffee but we want to continue to offer them the chance to enjoy our ranges whether they are at home, at work or out and about with friends, all made with the same famous Mocha Italia Signature Blend that they love.”

What’s more, Costa’s Coffee in a can contain 75% recycled aluminium and can be easily recycled by placing them in any mixed recycling bins. Used Nespresso and Dolce Gusto compatible coffee pod capsules can be recycled by returning them to any participating Costa Coffee store.

Those visiting Costa Coffee stores will see they have been equipped with protective equipment, hand sanitiser stations with floor signs, both inside and outside stores, which have been carefully placed to adhere to current social distancing guidelines. High-quality Perspex screens have also been installed at all counters, with designated pick-up points for mobile order collections.
