New Sainsbury’s Local opens in East London


Sainsbury’s Newham Brunel Street Works Local has opened its doors to customers this morning, creating 32 jobs.

The store is situated in the exciting new Brunel Street Works development, delivered by Vistry Partnerships. It will offer nearby residents a wide range of grocery and household products as well as the opportunity to pick up a fresh coffee from a self-service Costa coffee machine.

The store is conveniently located next to Canning Town Station and is open from 7am-11pm Monday to Sunday.

Sainsbury’s Property Director, Patrick Dunne said, “It’s fantastic to be opening a Sainsbury’s Local store in this new development. I know nearby residents will really enjoy being able to pick up their essentials here and experience the brilliant service our colleagues offer.”
