Goodman Restaurants to launch new steak and crab concept

Russian Steakhouse group Goodman Restaurants, who operates 3 sites in London as well as the successful Burger & Lobster concept, is now set to launch a new ‘premium’ steak concept in November after securing a unit within the One Chapel Place development in the West End.

The concept, which will focus on steak and crab, is yet to be named but will take on a 4,742sq ft site and have approximately 120 covers. Created by Goodman owner Misha Zelman, it will serve premium steak and Russian live king crab alongside a range of fine wines.

The five-storey building the restaurant will be situated in is just off Oxford Street at the northern end of Bond Street and is owned by the West End of London Property Unit Trust, who owns the Chapel Place development. The building also offers open-plan office accommodation as well as a reception area and a 640-sq.ft roof terrace.
