Leeds based Jones Bar Group, who runs eight bars in the region, has secured a new site in the City which will be the closed bar to the Leeds First Direct Arena.
The company has signed a 20-year lease with Town Centre Securities on a 2,691sq ft which is expected to open in March next year, following a £200,000 investment. The venue will be split over two levels and feature a balcony. 21 new jobs will be created at the site.
Jones Bar Group, which is a family run company now has plans for further expansion and is looking to recruit 65 new members of staff within the next six months. It currently has 2 sites in Horsforth and 6 in Leeds city centre.
