Care home specialist, Anchor has chosen 10 contractors to join its new build framework worth £100-£200m over the next four years, as the group continues to build new villages across the UK.
Anchor's villages usually house around 150 people and contain a combination of apartments or houses and a specialist care home. In recent years, the firm has provided nearly 1,000 extra-care place.
Construction firm, Midas is currently mid-way through phase one of a landmark £37m retirement village, Hampshire Lakes (pictured), near Yateley, which already has over 50 room reservations.
