Highbullen Hotel, Golf & Country Club, is planning to develop a further 94 holiday lodges and apartments at its 125-acre estate in North Devon, with the creation of 40 jobs.
The design and access statement submitted to planners shows three distinct types of accommodation – luxury lodges, tree houses and apartments.
The luxury lodges, intended for families, will have three bedrooms and a large deck. The tree houses will be single story one bedroom suites raised “to look into the tree canopy.” The two bedroom apartments will bridge the gap between the tree houses and luxury lodges. Three apartment blocks are planned for near the centre of the estate.
