Mitie has secured an extension to its existing contract with savings and investment group Standard Life.
The renewed contract, which follows a competitive tender process, will see Mitie’s Environmental+ team of over 80 people deliver services across the client’s headquarters and other properties in Edinburgh.
Services to be delivered include cleaning, gritting, landscaping, pest control and window cleaning. Mitie’s catering business, Gather & Gather, will also be providing catering.
Gather & Gather delivers services to more than 5,000 Standard Life staff, primarily in central Edinburgh, but with some additional services being provided at the St Mary’s Axe Building in the City of London.
The catering business appears to be on a solid upward trajectory: the announcement of this win follows news that Gather & Gather secured almost £20m of new catering deals in 2014.
