The University of Chester has announced another exclusive pop-up restaurant for the top-floor De Gaulle Brasserie in Churchill House, which has stunning views over the River Dee.

Award-winning chefs have created a menu for Sunday 26 March and the university is taking reservations from members of the public for between 12 noon and 3pm

For starters there will be Roasted courgette, rosemary & garlic soup, and Tian of hot smoked Scottish salmon, avocado, crab & saffron oil.

The pop-up will serve up main dishes like Roast British sirloin of beef, seasonal buttered vegetables, duck fat roast potatoes & Yorkshire pudding, traditional beef gravy, and University of Chester ale battered fish, Jenga chips, minted mushy peas & chunky tartar sauce.

The dessert selection includes Lemon and lime posset, all butter shortbread, and Baked apple tart, cinnamon mascarpone served with vanilla bean syrup.

This latest event follows on from the successful Valentine's evening pop-up restaurant in Senate House dining room on the Parkgate Road Campus.
