Authentic handmade pasta restaurant brand, Al Dente is to open its third and flagship dine-in venue in stylish South Kensington, early October.
The new dine-in location adds to the existing portfolio of affordable eateries located in Fitzrovia and Monument, and offers a new dining experience through its large eat-in capacity and on-site signature Pastificio, where pasta is made fresh daily.
At 180 square metres, and capacity for 50 diners indoors and 12 al fresco, Al Dente South Kensington is the brand's largest venue to date.
Built on the principle of championing local ingredients and creating fresh pasta daily, Al Dente provides a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of London, transporting guests to an Italian getaway.
Diners will be able to look into a window where the pasta experts craft fresh pasta from start to finish in real time. A relaxed atmosphere coupled with perfectly al dente pasta, Aperol Spritz in hand all make for the perfect dining experience.
The new eatery will not only offer fan favourites, such as the vibrant Spaghettoni alla Carbonara, created the traditional way with rich egg yolks, Pecorino, and guanciale, but also signature dishes, such as the spicy Paccheri Salsiccia e 'Nduja, a spicy sausage pasta dish inspired by the classic dishes of Calabria, and the house Ravioli Al Dente where every ravioli is infused with spinach and filled with a sweet and savoury ricotta, mushroom, and parmesan fondue with truffle.
In addition to these dishes, guests can enjoy a range of classic aperitivo to share amongst friends, including Arancini, Bruschetta, Burrata and Parma Ham, and topping it all off with a traditional Tiramisù.
Owner Filippo Gallenzi said, The whole team here at Al Dente is so excited to open our biggest venue to date, it's long been a dream of ours to open a large dine-in venue in such an exciting location as South Kensington. We look forward to welcoming guests with open arms and becoming the go to location for authentic Italian pasta at affordable prices.
