£1.1m central Exeter boutique B&B changes hands

Bendene Townhouse, a popular boutique B&B in Exeter city centre, has been sold via Savills to hospitality management group, Hi West, from a guide price of £1.1m.

The three-storey Grade II-listed property provides 21 bedrooms and rear walled garden terrace. The hotel features three new garden suites which have recently been converted.

All rooms have flat screen TVs, free ultra fast wi-fi, tea and coffee making facilities, and are each individually decorated.

Bendene Townhouse is situated in the centre of Exeter and benefits from excellent connectivity being only a short walk from Exeter St David’s train station, which has a direct line to London Paddington.

Harriet Fuller, Associate Director in the Hotel Capital Markets team at Savills, said, “This is a fantastic property with broad guest appeal in the heart of Exeter and we are delighted to complete the sale to Hi West who we are sure will continue to operate the business with great success.”
