Mymuybueno founder wins Code Hospitality’s Leader of the Year award

Code Hospitality’s Women of the Year Awards Ceremony took place last night in Stereo Cocktail Bar in London’s Covent Garden.

Justine Murphy, CEO and Founder of mymuybueno won the ‘Leader of the Year’ Award fighting off some tough competition from other nominees including Cornelia Staeubli (Operations Manager, Ottolenghi) and Anna Watkins (MD of the Barrafina Group) to name a few.

Founder, successful entrepreneur, cookbook author, podcast host and journalist, Justine Murphy is a business powerhouse and the driving force and CEO behind international company and brand, mymuybueno.

With a passion for food and people, Justine is currently celebrating 25 years of working in the hospitality industry. Her career started at aged 17 working in restaurants, she then went on to work as a private chef on super-yachts cooking for some of the world’s most influential people.

With a wealth of experience and a strong desire to build, create and learn, Justine began her entrepreneurial journey in 2011, founding mymuybueno, a private chef recruitment division for super yachts and hand-selected chefs across the globe.

Success initially came with the mymuybuenochefs platform which quickly grew into and remains to be a huge success today. In an ever-evolving industry fuelled by creativity and passion, Justine is at the forefront and is constantly pushing the boundaries and expanding.

More than a decade down the line, mymuybueno is now the largest private chef agency in the world and has cemented itself as a destination for luxury food and lifestyle with a network of high-profile clients.

Acting as an umbrella brand and one that encapsulates all of her core values, expertise, and experience, Justine will soon launch the Academy of Culinary Arts (MACA). Dedicated to culinary training for yacht chefs alongside incredible guest chef courses, MACA will uphold mymuybueno high standards and will nurture individuals to achieve gastronomic excellence.

Creating her own lane and seeking a new challenge, Justine founded mymuybueno Women in Business and mymuybueno Chefs Get Personal podcast. The former is centred on celebrating, empowering, strengthening, supporting and motivating women in business. Following a popular run, the show will return for a fourth series later this year.

The latter sees Justine interview chefs – from rising stars to Michelin stars – the same questions with very different answers.

Possessing a strong sense of purpose, Justine is committed to inspiring others with her work ethic, ambition and vision – all while raising her two young boys.
