Co-op Wholesale secures supplier deal with Sewell on the Go

Co-op Wholesale has unveiled a new supply partnership with Sewell on the Go, the independent forecourt retailer based in East Yorkshire.

Under the agreement, Co-op Wholesale will supply 12 convenience stores across Hull and East Yorkshire.

Katie Secretan, MD at Co-op Wholesale, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Sewell on the Go. This is a fantastic business with deep roots in its communities and a genuine commitment to quality and service.

“Our wholesale model is built to give partners like Sewell the freedom to stay true to their brand while delivering a market-leading range and operational support. We can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.”

The deal aligns with Co-op Wholesale’s strategy to grow in the forecourt convenience sector and support independent retailers.

Sewell on the Go will keep its own branding while benefiting from Co-op’s extensive range of ready-to-eat products.

Patrick Sewell, MD at Sewell on the Go said: “We’re excited to work alongside Co-op Wholesale, a partner whose values and vision align closely with our own.

“Our customers across Hull and East Yorkshire can look forward to a wider, more exciting range of products in-store, while we continue to provide the same great service, value and local focus that people know and trust.”

Earlier this month, Co-op entered into a five-year supply agreement with Dike & Son, a family-run retailer.
