Following delays to the launch of its Littlestone Beach hotel in Kent, The Gallivant’s second property is now scheduled to open in summer 2026.
Owned by Harry Cragoe, the 13-bedroom Gallivant Littlestone Beach will become the second site in The Gallivant Hotels portfolio, alongside the original Camber Sands location.
Cragoe acquired the former Romney Bay House Hotel in 2022, announcing plans to refurbish the building and reopen it as a boutique seaside hotel. Originally scheduled to open in 2023, the project has since experienced a number of delays.
Upon launch, the hotel will feature a sitting room, orangery, dining room, library and Nordic spa. Its food and beverage offering will take a flexible approach, allowing guests to dine throughout the ground floor rather than in a formal restaurant setting.
Designed by architect Clough Williams-Ellis, the building sits a short drive from The Gallivant Camber Sands.
According to Cragoe, the new opening is intended to deliver a private beach house feel, fostering social interaction in communal areas while still giving guests the choice of privacy.
