Cider, pizza and pie restaurant brand, The Stable is bringing its concept to London having secured a site and the opening scheduled for October.
The casual dining concept is majority owned by pub and brewery giant Fuller’s, which bought a 51% stake in the business for £7.3m last June.
The Stable started life when Richard Cooper (pictured) and Nikki Cooper bought The Bull Hotel in Bridport and decided to convert an old stable adjacent to the property into a pizza and cider restaurant.
Their ethos remains unchanged – a commitment to the best quality, local ingredients, interesting and unusual topping combinations and a range of ciders.
Following the success of that first restaurant, the couple have since opened seven more in locations including Bath, Bristol, Newquay, Falmouth, Weymouth and Poole. The latest outlet opened in April in Plymouth.
