    Shoryu to open fifth outlet in Manchester


    Japanese ramen bar brand, Shoryu is to open a fifth eatery which is situated in Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens.

    The new outlet, which will be the chain’s first launch outside London, is set to open in April,

    The brand specialises in the tonkotsu style of the noodle soup, made with a thick, rich pork broth, which comes from the Hakata district of Fukuoka, on the island of Kyushu.

    The Michelin Guide-recommended Shoryu currently operates sites in Soho, Carnaby, Regent Street and Liverpool Street.
