The Stable opens 16th site in Bournemouth

The Stable, which is 51%-owned by Fullers, is opening its 16th restaurant and bar at noon today in Bournemouth.

The new outlet opens on the site of the former Tourist Information Centre on Westover Road.

The Dorset-based brand, which started in 2009 by husband and wife team Richard and Nikki Cooper before Fullers bought its stake in 2014, has become well-known for stocking over 80 craft ciders and sourcing its pizza and pie ingredients locally.

The Stable food is preservative-free and everything is freshly hand-made from scratch, from the organic sourdough pizza bases to the super spicy Naga chilli oil.

Non-Gluten Ingredients (NGI) are available for all pizzas from the main menu – the dough is specially made off site. The organic sourdough pizza bases are 100% animal-free and, as everything is made to order, vegans and vegetarians can drop the meat and cheese from any pizza.

The Stable offers ciders from small-scale local producers, and many a new cider fan has been introduced to the beverage via The Stable’s ingenious cider tasting boards.
