Paradise Garage, the modern British restaurant on Paradise Row in East London, has announced details of its latest Beastie Boys & Girls feasting dinner on 18 October.
The Beastie Boys & Girls events are a celebration of a ‘whole beast’, a feast using all parts of the animal to create classic and inventive dishes for a one-off menu. This October will be bigger and better than ever, paying homage to the glorious game season. Head Chef Simon Woodrow and Sous Chef Patrick Williams have worked together to create a menu with a particular emphasis on game birds and will use everything in true beak to claw style.
Guests will begin the evening with a selection of snacks including Homemade Chipolatas and starters of Game Faggot with Smoked Broth, and Pigeon Tartare with Cured Pheasant Egg Yolk. The main event will be more traditional, and will see a host of whole-roasted game birds for the table including Grouse, Pheasant and Mallard to share. Simon and Patrick will work with some of their favourite suppliers, including Burnside Farm, a leading Scottish game specialist who supply direct from their own farm based in the Tweed Valley.
On arrival, guests will be served signature Paradise Garage cocktails including house favourite Paradise Lost, a punchy concoction consisting of homemade raspberry liqueur, ginger and rum. The team have also devised a bespoke cocktail and wine list focusing on Burgundy, carefully chosen to pair with the complex flavours of game.
The Dairy Group, consisting of The Dairy, The Manor and Counter Culture in Clapham, and Paradise Garage in Bethnal Green, is well known for its calendar of eclectic events, including Bloodshot - a unique, late night supper club that hosts some of London's best chefs; Homegrown - a one-off chance for junior chefs and up and coming restaurateurs to take over the reins of a full-on kitchen and restaurant; and Beastie Boys and Girls, whose last two events have sold out in minutes.
Tickets will be priced at £50 (including a welcome cocktail) and will be available to buy from 13 September. To buy tickets, please email reservations@paradise254.com or call 020 7613 1502.
