The popularity of premium Spanish cava continues to rise and the collaboration with DoubleTree by Hilton aligns ourselves with a likeminded and prestigious brand whilst targeting a brand-new audience for us.”
Currently Europe’s largest privately owned wine estate, Codorníu is Spain’s oldest family-run business. It is one of the first to produce sparkling wine using the traditional method with Chardonnay grapes, making sixty million bottles across the full range annually.
Established in Barcelona in 1551 and steeped in rich family heritage, Anna de Codorníu is a combination of traditional Catalan, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, named after the last family member to use the Codorníu surname. Currently available only on-trade, five million bottles of Anna have been sold world-wide and this pop-up will help to introduce the iconic range to the UK market.
Located at the DoubleTree by Hilton London Docklands Riverside hotel, the ‘Anna de Codorníu Terrace on the Thames’ is situated at the Grade II-listed Columbia Wharf building, a former dock warehouse dating back to the 17th century.
The terrace will open from seven days a week, from 2pm – 10pm Monday to Friday, and 12noon – 10pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Walk-ins welcome, group bookings and private hire available.
