Luke Johnson, the former Pizza Express and Channel 4 chairman, has acquired a majority stake in Yes Dining, buying it out from its previous owners Bright Futures Group.
This will be Johnsons first step into the contract catering sector of hospitality and the change in ownership will also result in a change in name for the caterers. From next month Yes Dining will trade as the Genuine Dining Co. This name will reportedly reflect the caterers commitment to using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
The serial investor who also has majority stakes in a number of restaurants such as Giraffe and Feng Sushi, will help the company expand its offerings and develop more of a high street presence.
