Seven restaurant brands have been announced to open in Dorchester’s Brewery Square development which is due for completion later this month.
Nando’s are to occupy a 2,100 sq ft unit located next to the Odeon cinema. Italian restaurant chain Carluccio’s will also open close to the cinema. Other brands set to open are Pizza Express, Wagamama, Café Rouge and Zizi.
The £100m development is the largest town centre regeneration project in the south west and has also included a cultural quarter, including a hotel, shops, a theatre, fountain and ice rink. Among the approved proposals are the construction of a new health centre and the conversion of the 130-year-old former brewery building into a hotel and spa, and homes. The Grade II listed brewhouse will be transformed into a 52-bedroom hotel and 17 apartments.
