Alliance in Partnership retains education deals worth over £4m

Education catering firm Alliance in Partnership (AiP) has retained contracts worth £4.2m since the start of the academic year, underscoring its focus on providing healthy, nutritious meals to pupils across the UK.

Serving over 400 primary and secondary schools nationwide, AiP continues to enhance the dining experience and support pupils’ learning throughout the day. The latest retained contracts cover 38 schools, including Heart of England School in the West Midlands, Aylestone School and St Mary’s RC High School in Herefordshire, and Claremont Primary School in Kent.

AiP says it is committed to helping young people build a positive relationship with food. Its initiatives include encouraging pupils to try plant-forward meals, making food education engaging through hands-on workshops, and promoting sustainability across schools.

In February 2025, the company was ranked fourth in ProVeg UK’s inaugural School Contract Caterer Ranking. Founded in 1998, AiP became part of Sodexo in December 2018.

Rebecca Bridgement, managing director at AiP and state schools at Sodexo UK & Ireland, said: “These contract extensions reflect the strong partnerships we have built with schools and the dedication of our frontline and management teams who bring real value to each school community.

“We know that nutritious, high-quality meals do more than support physical wellbeing. They also help children and young people thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are proud to be a trusted partner, working side by side with schools to deliver a positive dining experience for every pupil.”
