The Stable, which operates two sites in Bridport and Weymouth in Dorset, has acquired a third venue- The Hole in the Wall restaurant in Bath.
The company, which focuses on 57 types of cider, ten types of pizza and four choices of hand-crafted pie, has now submitted a planning application to Bath and North East Somerset Council to make changed to the basement restaurant in order to open the site later this year.
The Hole in the Wall, was opened by Chef George Perry-Smith in the 1950s, and established haute cuisine in Britain. The restaurant went into administration in 2011 and was therefore put up for sale for £175,000 last year.
