Young’s Seafood, the producer and distributor of frozen, fresh, and chilled seafood, is to open its first branded fish and chip shop with renowned operators Mark and Pete Petrou.
The venue is to open in Cambridge at the end of the month and is located within one of the brothers existing restaurants within the University town. The site will now be revamped under the name ‘Young’s Fish & Chips, brought to you by the Petrou Brothers’.
The revamped site, which is Young’s first venture into supplying Young’s fish direct to the consumer, will offer a take-away service as well as a restaurant seating area. Frozen-at-sea sustainable fish from Young’s will be used for everything from fillets to fishcakes.
The Petrou Brothers, has been running award winning fish and chip shops for over 25 years now and were recently presented with the Outstanding Achievement accolade at the National Fish & Chip Awards. Their other sites are located in nearby Chatteris, March and Ely.
