Independent family brewer, JW Lees has announced plans to create 1,000 jobs over the next five years on the back of a record 12 months.
The Middleton firm, a winner of a 2013 MEN Business of the Year Award, posted a turnover of £62.8m in the year to March 31, up 5% from £59.2m in the previous financial year.
JW Lees said it would invest £67.5m over the next five years in buying and developing 65 new pubs in the north west, creating up to 1,000 roles.
