Brookwood Partnership celebrates 15.6% rise in pre-tax profit


Independent education caterer, Brookwood Partnership reported a 15.6% rise in pre-tax profit to £1.3m for the year ended 31 March 2014, boosted its Graysons Education acquisition.

The firm's annual turnover increased to £32.7m - up from £25m in 2013 - of which £7.7m came from Graysons after it was acquired in May last year.

The company also confirmed that Graysons Education, the former education catering business of Graysons Restaurants, has changed its name to Absolutely Catering on 1 September.

Headquartered in Surrey, The Brookwood Partnership was founded in 1996 and delivers 45,500 fresh meals each school day in 97 sites around the UK.

As well as providing breakfast, lunch and dinner services, the firm also caters for hospitality events including; sports days, summer balls, and retirement parties.
