Aspall Cyder plans £6m facilities expansion

Family-run Aspall Cyder has submitted plans for the £6m expansion of its cider production facility in Suffolk by 2016.

In March the cider manufacturer pumped £4.3m into a new warehouse and packaging building to help double its capacity.

The business was established in 1728 by Clement Chevallier who planted the orchards at Aspall Hall in Suffolk. Today Aspall is run by the eighth generation of the family.
