Fruit and vegetable delivery service, Abel & Cole, is opening its own pop-up restaurant called Abel & Cole at the Brickhouse, London E1.
The new site will be situated at the Truman Brewery in Brick Lane for a four-week stint in September and have brought in Head Chef, Leon Aarts (who set up the Extraordinary Ones Foundation, an initiative to help feed children across the world) to look after the menu.
The menu will serve up dishes such as Roast Squash with Gorgonzola & Almonds, Mushroom Gnocchi with Garlic Confit, Roast Aubergine, Hummus & Pickled Veg Sandwich, Whole Roasted Spicy Cauliflower with Couscous, and Poached Cod with Vegetables & Aioli Garni.
To follow, diners can enjoy Panna Cotta with Poached Fruits, and French Toast with Honey Roast Figs
The group will also be running events, with farmers set to give informative talks too.
