Adelie Foods has placed its sandwiches and snacks business in Enniskillen, Adelie Ireland, into administration through Keenan Corporate Finance.
Seventy-five workers have been made redundant and there is little hope of finding a new buyer for the 20,000 sq ft facility located in the Lackaboy Industrial Estate.
In October last year, Adelie Ireland took over The Bite Group business, which manufactured and distributed sandwiches and chilled snacks for convenience stores and retail outlets, to access Irish markets.
Just two months ago, Adelie Foods announced that it would cease production at its Tamworth manufacturing site and begin a period of consultation with the 340 employees.
