Franco Manca to open 32nd pizzeria

Franco Manca, the popular sourdough pizza operator, has secured a new site through Shelley Sandzer, in Bernard Street, Russell Square W1. The 1,600 sq ft restaurant is set to open in the Spring.

Located next to Russell Square tube station, the site is split over basement and ground floor levels with some outside seating. The pizzeria is situated in a very busy tourist and student area, surrounded by many offices and hotels and near to the SOAS University.

The company has expanded from its debut site in Brixton market which opened in 2008. Now, new Franco Manca sites are opening in London and across the UK. This will be the brand's 32nd pizzeria, with more planned to open later in the year.

Franco Manca sells organic and locally sourced produce with a choice of an 8” pizza, wine and beer menu.

Leo Feldman, Leasing Agent at Shelley Sandzer, said, “We are pleased to have secured another great site in Central London for Franco Manca.
