One of Ei Group's two managed divisions, Craft Union Pub Company has kicked off a nationwide expansion with 31 new site openings in the last three months.
These new openings bring the Craft Union portfolio to 122 pubs, and the company are planning to reach 170 sites by September this year.
Craft Union, which launched in May 2015, aims to be the pub of choice for locals to meet up and watch their favourite sports, which is the main footfall driver.
These pubs are generally smaller with, up until now, no food offering, however, the firm is trialling a simple food offer including burgers and pizza.
The company also aims to put great pubs back at the heart of the local community as it believes pubs play a vital role in the lives of customers and it's committed to nurturing this.
