Filmore & Union shortlisted in prestigious regional awards

Healthy casual dining chain, the 15 site-strong Filmore & Union has been shortlisted in the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards 2018, Suburban Restaurant Category.

The Yorkshire Evening Post’s annual celebration of food and the dining scene in and around Leeds is now in its tenth year.

Over the last five years, Filmore & Union has brought its ‘feel good neighbourhood dining’ vibe to Yorkshire’s foodie suburbs, including Wetherby on the outskirts of Leeds, offering diners something they can’t get elsewhere on their local high street or outside of major cities.

The company has been one step ahead when it comes to vegan, gluten-free, and wellness-inspired food and drink, setting it apart from other local eateries.

Unlike other health food cafes, Filmore & Union also offers a vibrant evening menu, including cocktails with a twist, at some of its suburban restaurants, including regular themed supper club night, like the increasingly popular vegan night, which sees the development chefs experiment with the latest ingredients.

Filmore & Union is also shortlisted in the Menu Innovation category of the upcoming national Casual Dining Awards.

The company operates ten restaurants, two take away sites - branded Fresh From Filmore, and three train station platform sites. There will be a new restaurant launch in John Lewis Newcastle, following the successful opening of the John Lewis York last year.
