Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events is encouraging companies to swap the office for the pitch, after unveiling its latest corporate away day packages at Hampden Park Stadium in Glasgow.
The famous venue is offering the opportunity to follow in the ‘bootsteps’ of the nation’s sporting heroes and become a footballer for the day, as part of a package of team building ideas.
Groups can start the day indoors in one of the lounges or hospitality boxes, boasting views across the historic pitch, with arrival drinks and morale boosting talks, before heading outdoors to take part in a game of football in Lesser Hampden. Enhancing the experience further, delegates can mimic sporting greats by getting ready in the Hampden Park changing rooms used by the Scotland team.
Event bookers can also work with Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events chefs to create a bespoke menu for the day, with the option to include a three-course-meal in the Hall of Fame suite, or a buffet reception in the Museum.
Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Scotland was one of the first organisations to take advantage of Hampden’s outdoor hospitality packages this year. On Thursday 10th May, 40 delegates participated in a charity football match, before being joined by a further 48 guests to enjoy a sit down Scottish-inspired dinner.
Access to the Scottish Football Museum, which houses some of the world’s most impressive collection of sports memorabilia can also be arranged for corporate groups, as well as a behind the scenes stadium tour.
A variety of other outdoor activities, including obstacle courses and sports days, can also be added, with tailored packages to suit all needs available from £35 per person.
