US-based Mexican restaurant group, Chipotle is planning to open three more restaurants in London this year which will bring its UK portfolio to six. The firm says it wants to use London as the ‘gateway to Europe’ and plans to open 200 sites in the UK. Chipotle, which is famed for using local produce, operates a 1,100-strong chain of burrito bars in the US.
