Chipotle opens seventh London restaurant

Mexican fast-casual dining brand, Chipotle has today opened its seventh London restaurant, and its second in the City of London, in King William Street, near Monument.

US-based Chipotle already operates restaurants at locations including Soho, Baker Street, Islington and London Wall.

Jacob Sumner, operations director, Chipotle in Europe, said, ‘We are delighted to open our second restaurant in the City of London. We already have a huge fanbase in the City as a result of opening at 49 London Wall in 2015 and are proud that we can now serve more people living and working in this area, helping change the way people think about and eat fast food.’

Launched in 1993 in Denver, Colorado by Steve Ells, Chipotle serves up a menu that includes burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, salads and sides.

The company operates almost 2,500 outlets right across America.
