As 2019 draws to a close, The Alchemist, the all-day dining venue and bar famed for its theatrical cocktails and immersive experiences, is running a series of limited-edition cocktail-leaf reading sessions with a professional clairvoyant.
The readings will take place at its newly-opened Old Street site, giving cocktail lovers a glimpse into the future with the mystical practice of tea-leaf reading.
The Alchemist, a true master in dark arts and molecular mixology will run the 15 minute sessions for six weeks at Old Street every Wednesday, launching on 30 October.
Cocktail lovers will be able to enjoy the new Deja Brew cocktail whilst having their fortune told from a specially created cocktail with an exact ‘liquid to tea leaf ratio’. These readings will give Londoners their most accurate predictions yet, as we draw ever closer to 2020.
Each session will be £15 including the cocktail and the reading for 15 minutes, making them the perfect quirky experience to enjoy with a group of friends ahead of the New Year. For those who aren’t drinking, there is a non-alcoholic version available too.
