Seasoned reports 24% rise in Xmas party revenue

Despite the general trend of a quieter Christmas party period, Seasoned, the award-winning London event caterers, have seen an increase of 24% in Christmas party revenue this December making it Seasoned’s best festive period for three years.

The typical event this December is a bespoke, tailored event at a unique venue, rather than a pre-packaged Christmas party. Clients have wanted to create their own event, focusing on the areas of the event that are most important to them, rather than just another Christmas party.

Seasoned, who this December are producing events at Madame Tussauds, Natural History Museum, Salters’ Hall, Museum of London Docklands, Science Museum and Guildhall among others, have seen a shift towards a more traditional Christmas this year in style but not in menu choice.

Previous years saw a shift towards more informal, standing events with bowl food and canapés. However, in 2019 almost 75% of the events are three-course dinners compared to only 45% in previous years. However, turkey seems to be out of favour this year with other choices of main courses being selected for festive celebratory events.
