US-based Mexican restaurant group Chipotle has announced plans to open a sixth site in London next year after acquiring a site in Wimbledon. Located on the site of European restaurant 40 The Hill, it will be only the second site for Chipotle outside of central London and is expected to open in the first quarter of 2013.
Overseen by Jacob Sumner in the UK, the company has opened three sites in London this year - at Wardour Street, St Martin's Lane and Islington. The company first arrived in the UK in 2010 , opening a site on Charing Cross Road. A second site followed at Baker Street in 2011.
It is also understood they will announce their Third Quarter 2012 Results on October 18, 2012
