Today, JKS Restaurants has launched Ambassador General Store, a new retail platform offering a one-stop shop for restaurant-prepared premium Indian meal boxes, ready-to-eat dishes and drinks, delivered straight to homes nationwide.
Ambassador General Store launches with a selection of family feast meal boxes and ready-to-eat dishes from Michelin Starred Gymkhana and Trishna as well as Indian barbecue restaurant Brigadiers.
The meal box experiences will reflect each restaurant’s signature style, while also offering a range of wine, beer and cocktails, through the platform’s Indian off-license Daru Shop.
Over the coming weeks the group will continue to develop the store offering with celebratory Diwali and Christmas specials and new beer and cocktail collaborations.

The drinks offering includes 4 premium Pink Gin & Tonics made with Sipsmith London Dry Gin, Gymkhana Tonic Water, and Angostura Bitters, plus a bottle of Family Red from award-winning wine maker Adi Badenhorst.

The Brigadiers Mixed Grill Thiller Experience will be available for those who want to enjoy a selection of Brigadiers’ signature drinks alongside their feast. Drinks include 4 x Fourth Rifles Pale Ale, a bottle of red Tempranillo, La Maldicion and a 500ml bottle of Daru Shop Old Fashioned to round off the meal.

Ambassador General Store will host its own online off-license, Daru Shop, inspired by the illicit alcohol vendors found across India. Originally formed as a popular lockdown pop-up at Brigadiers, the Daru Shop will continue is legacy online, allowing customers to purchase drink experience kits, ready-to-drink cocktails, and collaboration beers and wine.

All meal boxes and individual dishes will allow for a seamless home-cooking experience, perfect for cooks of all abilities. All produce is prepared in the respective restaurant kitchen, with detailed assembly instructions provided in print format.
Customers can pre-order from the Ambassador General Store from today Monday with first deliveries arriving at front doors on Friday 23 October.
