Selina to open 5th UK hotel with vegan eatery in Camden this spring

Expanding Latin-American 'nomadic' hotel brand, Selina is set to open in London's Camden this spring, when the lockdown is lifted.

The new 30-bed site, in Chalk Farm Road, will be the brand’s fifth UK site after launches in Manchester and Birmingham in 2019, and Brighton and Selina Liverpool in 2020.

Situated The Roundhouse venue, Selena Camden aims to establish itself as a key hub for intimate events, after-parties and post-gig stays for artists and gig-goers alike, as well as those looking for a stylish base from which to explore London.

The new hostel will offer a vegan restaurant named Powerplant, which will serve up an array of innovative plant-based options, including Watermelon Tartare with yuzu, avocado and charred corn, Potato Flatbreads with cashew cream, grilled courgette, and Thai basil pesto. The menu will be complemented by a creative cocktail list.

Selina secured a £80m finance deal in 2019 to fund its expansion across Europe. and launched in the UK in the same year.
