Gastrono-me plans multiple-site expansion over next three years

The team behind all-day & night eatery Gastrono-me is currently identifying sites with assistance from Stonebrook London, with a view to a multiple-site expansion over the next three years.

Founders Gem and Mike Simmonite are specifically concentrating on ABC1 sites in the UK and presently in talks on a site in Cambridge.

Future target locations include Brighton, Oxford, Cheltenham, Reading, Bath and Cardiff. The all day and night restaurant are looking for areas with an abundance of retail, plus a good deal of buzzy evening trade to suit their all-through neighbourhood restaurant style.

The 110-cover busy restaurant has been trading successfully for three years on Abbeygate Street located in the market town of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, and has been described as “the go-to place for vibrant bottomless brunches, eclectic lunch and feel-good dinner menus”.

Gastrono-me also houses an underground speakeasy-style karaoke room, which has proven immensely popular with parties and private functions.

Mike and Gem Simmonite have enjoyed twelve strong years in the hospitality industry and have assembled an experienced team to manage the expansion. Gastrono-me is backed by Private Equity and is poised to support rapid expansion.
