The Hoxton to open 4th London site & to expand across Europe

Ennismore's The Hoxton is to add five more properties to its growing portfolio, with hotels set to open in London's Shepherd’s Bush, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, and Vienna over the course of 2022 and 2023.

After a challenging year, optimism is on the horizon as these exciting openings see the brand spread its much-loved hotels further across Europe, and follow the recent opening of The Hoxton’s 10th hotel in Rome, which opened earlier this month.

As part of the expansion, Working From, The Hoxton’s co-working brand, will also open its first mainland Europe location, bringing a great new co-working offering to Brussels.

The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush will open in winter 2022 and will be the fourth hotel, and marks the first time heading west for the East London-born brand.

The hotel will be located on Shepherd’s Bush Green, in the heart of the eclectic neighbourhood, well placed near White City and Portobello Road, and with great transport links for exploring London.

Designed by Ennismore Design Studio, The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush will have 237 rooms of various sizes including an all new and most affordable ‘Hideout’ category; a central bar and open lobby with laidback and eclectic vintage seating; a retro pastel restaurant, terrace and courtyard; a retail space; and The Apartment meeting and events space.

Local art and design collaborations throughout the hotel celebrate the area’s creative neighbours as well as giving them a place to meet and hang out.

Ennismore CEO and Founder, Sharan Pasricha commented, “It’s been an incredibly difficult time for everyone, especially those in hospitality, and for all of those who, like us, love to travel and discover new places. Community has never felt more important, and we look forward to sharing Hoxton with more people in some of our favourite cities in Europe.

'Our exciting plans for the next few years reflect our optimism for the bounceback of travel and commitment to the industry we love. We can’t wait to expand our portfolio and open our doors in these great cities, ready for when city breaks and international travel is back and thriving.'

Accor and Ennismore are close to finalising a merger where Accor will own two-thirds and a third will be owned by Pasricha.
