New in-flight catering company Alpha LSG has won the contract to provide catering, housekeeping and janitorial services at the Emirates Lounge at Manchester Airport.
The contract, which is to begin this month, will run for three years and see Alpha cater for up to 200 Emirates first class, business class or sky gold passengers in the lounge at any one time.
LSG Sky Chefs has operated in Manchester Airport’s departures lounge since it opened in 2009.
Alpha LSG was erected in October 2012 as a UK-only joint venture by LSG Sky Chefs and Alpha Flight Group. The business has combined revenues of over £300m through operations across 16 UK airports.
