Co-op set to serve-up new Falmouth store


Co-op is set to serve-up its newest store this time next week (Friday, 15 July) in Cliff Road, Falmouth.

The Co-op’s new 2,250 sq ft store - located close to Gyllyngvase Beach - will run on 100% renewable electricity and create up to 30 local jobs.

Co-op’s new Falmouth store opens between 7am-11pm daily and will include its Fairtrade coffee dispenser - known as Everground; a free ATM; hot food; bakery and ice creams, alongside a focus on fresh, healthy products; meal ideas; everyday essentials.

There is also food-to-go; chilled beers and award-winning wines; ready meals and pizzas and, free-from; vegan and plant-based products – including Co-op’s exclusive vegan range, GRO.

A unit is available to enable the community to recycle ‘soft plastics’ - including: crisp packets, bread bags, lids from ready meals and yogurt pots, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches. Racks are outside the store for shoppers who cycle and, compostable carrier bags are also available for those who forget their reusable bag.
