Leon to roll out self-serve coffee kiosks to 68 EG petrol forecourts


Healthy fast casual brand, Leon is launching its very own self-serve coffee kiosks in 68 EG owned petrol forecourts across the UK.

Using their own Leon-branded, triple-certified coffee, customers can now receive the same barista-quality coffee at the touch of a button with the knowledge that they are saving the rainforest with every cup bought.

Leon has a longstanding partnership with the World Land Trust since they started selling coffee, meaning all of Leon’s coffee not only tastes great, but is organic, fairtrade and kind to the planet.

In fact, for every seven cups consumed, one metre squared of rainforest is saved no matter whether it’s served in a restaurant, brewed at home, or poured at one of their new kiosks.

With the rollout of the new kiosks, they are forecast to save an additional 42,000 square metres before the end of the year, equivalent to the size of Wembley Stadium.

Five kiosks have been trialled across various locations, and following the success and delighted guests, Leon has decided to roll out into a further 68 locations nationwide.

From Glasgow to Weymouth, coffee-lovers can choose their preferred Leon bean - from Blonde Roast, which boasts notes of silky smooth caramel and hints of citrus, or Original Dark Roast which showcases a full, well-balanced flavour with spicy undertones.

Following this, customers will have the option to choose a drink of their choice from Leon’s list of hot teas and coffees, all of which are made using organic dairy milk.

Leon’s new Vanilla Caramel Latte, which will be launching on kiosks this summer, will also be available to purchase at the kiosks. This new drink is made up in equal parts of salted caramel and vanilla syrup, combined with Leon’s coffee, resulting in the perfect sweet treat.

The machines have been developed to a bespoke Leon-brand standard with optimised retail space, providing integrated snack racks as part of the design.

A focus on digital signage has also been at the core of the design in order to engage customers visually, creating an innovative and modern space, and an all-round easy and straight-forward experience for the shopper.

To celebrate the launch of the kiosks, Leon will be sharing a 50% thank you voucher to enjoy the next coffee.

Coffee options will include: Americano, Flat White, Cappuccino, Latte, Mocha, Hot Chocolate and the brand new seasonal Vanilla Caramel Latte. Tea options will include: English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Peppermint, Lemon & Ginger and Green
